Visit Pau, the capital of Béarn

As a priority, we advise you to spend a day in the capital of Béarn: Pau. It is a very pleasant city for cultural outings, its green spaces and its city center steeped in history. Here are our visit tips for a day trip to Pau:

• To find good local products direct from Béarnais producers, go to the Marché des Halles: Open on Saturday mornings, it is a traditional and friendly market. To find the other market days in the area, it's here.
• Stroll through the historic city center of Pau. We offer you a tour to see the essentials of this beautiful city (fr).
  

• It's meal time... Wondering where to eat in Pau to sample Béarnaise gastronomy in a friendly restaurant? We recommend Le Restaurant Le Berry, an institution since 1934, where you will find a friendly atmosphere for meals based on local products.
