Hot Cover 64 is a company based in Lons, northwest of the city of Pau. Specialized in covering (also called wrapping) they are precursors of this technique using thermoformable films to be applied on all types of surfaces, for more than 15 years. Christophe Roty, born to stick?

Christophe Roty, is what we call a real enthusiast. Since he was 6 years old, he has been drawing cars, at a time when others are making dinosaurs. His dream is to be a designer, but he takes another path, that of the stove, because he becomes a baker in Tarbes. From the age of 14, he crisscrossed the region on his scooter and decorated those of his friends with Venilia stickers and adhesive films... Time passed, he developed his dexterity as a "self-made man" in this profession, which have neither diploma nor equivalent in France. In 2013, he decorated a friend's Kawasaki motorbike for his wedding and this one put a flea in his ear: “ why don't you create your own company? ". 48 hours later, Christophe put away his baker's shovel forever, and created his covering business in Béarn : Hot Cover 64 was born!

For 10 years, he has been perfecting his technique, mastering a unique know-how in France, resulting from his experience, his pugnacity and the desire to stick perfectly, without a crease , on all surfaces! He created his own Facebook page, his website and faced with the success of his small business, in 2016 he moved up a rank, in EURL and moved to Lons.

Covering and wrapping, what is it?

" Packaged, it's weighed !" ": cover, coat to protect, decorate, change, improve the aesthetics... The covering and the wrapping (covering on a part of the vehicle or just a part, wrapping for the whole) make it possible to keep the original paint of a car, another means of transport, an object or a surface as a whole. On a beautiful day like any other, Christophe and Julie had a revolutionary idea and yet so logical. They found that their kitchen was seriously damaged, the facades are tattered and the wall being curved, it was complicated to change them. Never mind and if we covered all that? This is how the idea of wrapping in home staging (quick and inexpensive renovation of the house) came to the mind of the couple! By inquiring, they find that it is a technology used in several countries, in particular the United States (champions of Home Staging). Here they are , precursors in France of a new renovation technique. Wrapping also has the advantage of leaving the support clean, odorless and usable 15 minutes after application...

On the strength of this experience, they are now extending it and marketing it for objects: motorcycle helmets, but also pumps, barrels, tables, bars and various rigid objects. Hot Cover 64 also seeks to broaden its audience, which is quite masculine and car-oriented. Covering and wrapping are techniques so precise, fast, affordable and even ecological (because we are in the renovation and not the complete change of an object) that it would be a shame to confine them to the world of vehicles.
