  Hello, Constanti is a beautiful house which had a tradition of preparing and selling very good quality products. Unfortunately the quality has declined; the pastries from the Les Halles boutique are by far not as good as those from their boutique in town. I was very happy to share very good pastries with friends in La Rochelle; I ordered 24 croissants and others from Les Halles. Big disappointment when we tasted them; the puff pastry is incomparable to that found in the other store, it is just poor quality. When I came to explain my concern to Les Halles, I was told that there were 2 production sites and that therefore it could come from... nothing more. Would he have made a commercial gesture, just offering to give me a croissant? Nothing at all…frankly disappointed. That would have been 4 months ago. Have things changed? No! Moreover, go and test the welcome on the Boulevard des Pyrénées, as long as it is full, we have the impression of being in the way because they do not welcome us so badly, a total lack of sympathy, warmth, simply quality of welcome. It's disappointing from this house

  One of my (2) favorite patisseries / tea rooms in Pau. Cakes, ice creams, hot drinks, salty snacks! Safe values, delicious in my opinion. And the welcome that I particularly appreciate, whether on Boulevard des Pyrénées or Rue Henri IV, is just pleasant, and astonishing given the location - the businesses of Pau in these 2 "chic" streets have a clear tendency to be haughty. Not at Constanti, thank you ladies for that!!
