It was in the 18th century that Conchez-de-Béarn experienced its richest hours. Several noble and bourgeois families settled in the town to take up their summer quarters. On the remains of the old houses, they built the beautiful Bearnaise residences with elegant roofs that we see today. Wealthy merchants, doctors, surgeons, royal notaries, a lay abbot and two noble families will make the former "castet" a prestigious residential location. The town has retained all the charm of this prestigious past.
A circuit of about 300 m reveals the history of the town, that of its houses and their architecture, to conclude with a visit to the Saint-Germain church dating from 1770.
