    • Our farm is located in the village of Gère-Bélesten not far from Laruns. This is made up of a herd of 400 Basque-Béarnaise ewes for our main activity and around fifty blond d'Aquitaine cows.

Our farm has been built from generation to generation since 1918 and from father to son.

From my great-grandfather, to my grandfather and then my father, we all brought our heart and our passion to our profession!

With sheep's milk, we make Ossau jewels, a farmer's cheese made from raw milk from the Ossau Valley.

On the farm, the ewes are milked from November 1 to June 30, they go out to pasture all winter and are fed with fodder harvested on our land.

From July to mid-October we go up in Estive. First, at the foot of the Ossau in the Bious sector, where we carry out manual milking as well as cheese making. Then in the fall on the Ibech estive at the foot of the Lauriolle peak above the village of Bielle. The richness of the estive flora largely contributes to the original taste of estive cheese.

We offer quality cheese that you can find for sale directly at the Farm but also in a large number of creameries in France...

Directly from the producer to the consumer, sheep's milk cheese, which is also awarded 🥇, is excellent. This cheese producer deserves more visibility. In any case, it's worth the detour. 👍
