Between Béarn and the Basque Country, come and discover a simple and authentic terroir in a small family farm...
Welcome to the Erbin brothers: Beñat the elder and Michel the second. We took up the torch from our retired parents, to live from our passion: agriculture.
In a calm and serene setting, we breed sheep to produce farmer's sheep cheese in AOP Ossau-Iraty.
Guided by our parents Pierre and Maïté, we transform all milk production into cheese. We also refine and assure the sale in short circuit, directly from the producer to the consumer.
Convinced of the merits of peasant agriculture, we are concerned about the environment, the quality of products and we campaign for the survival of small structures.
In winter on the family farm in the lowlands, we share our trade on markets or fairs; and when the beautiful days come, we transhum on the heights of the Pyrenees to produce summer cheese and also exchange with campers or visitors to the farm.
Our production is varied and entirely farm-based: suckling lamb, calf raised under the mother, sheep cheese in PDO Ossau-Iraty, summer cheese in PDO Ossau-Iraty, Kintoa pigs (black pie breed from the Basque Country, soon in PDO Kintoa), sunflower oil.
Do not hesitate to come and see us. Our doors are wide open in order to taste, taste, exchange or simply share our piece of land.
Find us on the Navarrenx market every Wednesday, on the Sauveterre de Béarn market every Saturday, and on Sunday find us on the Navarrenx market from June to the end of August.
